Hello my friend! Great to have you here :)
I am a 1st-gen immigrant and startup operator living in NYC. I interview distinguished immigrant founders, VCs, and builders in Silicon Valley (in the general sense, not necessarily Bay Area). I have a candid 2-hour chat with each of them — about their insights, journey, and what they’re building (or investing in). I then distill it into a short, fun, and intellectually stimulating story for you.
If — like me — you’re always curious to learn something new and get excited about tech and business, this is the right place for you.
Why did I start this newsletter? Here’s my answer.
Who do I interview? For example: 1) a revered VC who’s backed 17+ unicorns in 12 years (often from seed stages); 2) the co-founder of a startup sold to Google for half a billion; and 3) the CFO of a $2.5B public company. Also: multiple Seed-stage founders who subsequently raised sizable Series As; an accelerator program founder; a socialpreneur; a seasoned corporate venture (CVC) advisor, etc.
Their cultural heritage represents five continents. They expert in AI, big data, cybersecurity, B2B SaaS, climate tech, healthcare tech, media, consumers, and so on. Some of them have run a Vietnamese restaurant, led a bankrupt company, been a soldier and a teacher, done community college, brought medical insurance to a remote village in Senegal, and designed a giant billboard for the Madame Tussauds in Times Square.
And of course, this list is ever growing.

Cheers!
